In association with the King Center, we created a short documentary film that draws an interesting parallel between the Civil Rights Movement and social protests today. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. used the social tools of his time to promote peaceful protest and garnered dramatic change throughout the world. Today social media is a key ingredient in the Arab Spring, Occupy Wall Street and almost all forms of local protest. Are these tools being used responsibly, and where will this new megaphone for unrest take us?
